Lost in Lace (1) – Inverted Crystal Cathedral

The Inverted Crystal Cathedral is the most impressive piece at the Lost in Lace exhibition, at the Gas Hall at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery. It’s created by Atelier Manferdini, with 1,000 strands of Swarovski crystals.

(It reminded an “inverted Sagrada Familia”, made with chains, I’ve seen at La Pedrera, in Barcelona)

Works by 20 international artists are on display at the Gas Hall

The sparkling cables are captivating!
